Daphney Montour

Daphney Montour is a Weight Loss Counselor at NexSlim Town Center. Daphney’s passion for nutrition and wellness began when she was younger growing up in Long Island, New York. Her mother would cook every night for Daphney and her 2 brothers. Their plates were always clean, simple and well balanced consuming fresh vegetables, lean proteins, and a starch. As Daphney grew up and became a teen, she stopped eating at home and ate out frequently, thus her diet changed to one with high sodium professed foods. She started noticing how drained, tired and less alert her body began feeling with her diet change. Daphney set out researching on how the human body functions in terms of food, and how it used as nourishment. Daphney decided to go to school and peruse a degree in nutrition. She completed her degree in Dietetics at Life University, with a goal to utilize her experiences, training and education in nutrition to help teach people ways they can improve their, diet, fitness and over all health. Daphney’s favorite part of her job is inspiring and motivating people to reach their goals. Daphney’s motto- We all have only ONE body to live in, so it is absolutely critical that we learn how to EAT RIGHT and stay active to take better care of it!

Elisabeth Marks

Elisabeth Marks is a Weight Loss Counselor at NexSlim Town Center. Elisabeth joins the NexSlim team from Dothan, Alabama. In 2010 Elisabeth graduated from Troy University with a degree in Education. She taught high school English in public schools for a few years before deciding to take time off to stay home with her baby girl. After having her daughter, she knew that she needed to try something different to lose her baby weight and that is when she discovered NexSlim. Elisabeth’s most important health tip is food preparation. Preparing her family’s meals on the weekends helps to avoid the common issue of coming home at 5pm, starving, and grabbing the quickest thing to feed her family. She has found that quick does not always equal healthy; therefore food preparation is very beneficial. Elisabeth’s favorite part of her job is the one-on-one counseling with each patient and helping each of them develop healthier lifestyles. Elisabeth currently lives in Kennesaw with her husband of 5 years and their one-year-old daughter.
